Coaching
Camp is led by Kokopelli's experienced coaching staff, who provide daily training, instruction, supervision, and support throughout the week. Every workout, activity, and experience is designed to help athletes grow both on and off the course.
Meals
All meals and snacks are planned and provided by the coaching staff to keep athletes fueled for training, recovery, and daily activities. Dietary restrictions and food allergies can be accommodated with advance notice.

Transportation
Team transportation is provided to and from camp, as well as for all scheduled activities and training sessions during the week. Athletes can focus on enjoying the experience while coaches handle the logistics.
Age
Altitude Camp is designed for high school athletes only. The training, schedule, and overall experience are built to prepare runners for the demands of high school cross country and track.
Cost
Camp pricing varies based on location, lodging, and planned activities. Most Kokopelli Altitude Running Camps range from $600–$850 per athlete, with final pricing announced before registration opens.
Housing
Athletes stay together in a team house, creating a fun, supervised environment that encourages team bonding and independence. Coaches are on-site throughout camp to ensure a safe, positive, and memorable experience.
Ability Level
This camp is best suited for intermediate to advanced runners who are prepared for higher training volume and intensity. Athletes should have a solid running base and be physically ready to handle multiple workouts and recovery sessions throughout the week.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We have our coaches on staff watching and monitoring the kids. But, this camp is a privilege for our older runners so if they do not behave they will be sent home.

We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions but we suggest you pre-plan with your child and also one of our coaches so that his/her needs are met.

We will start our day with an early morning mobility and maintennance session followed by a light snack before we head out for our morning workout. We typically will have a full breakfast after the session, some down-time or recreational activity mid-day and then an evening session followed up by a team dinner, activity and lights out.

Based on the # of kids, we will secure houses and split the kids based on an preferences, age, and gender. Each house will have 1-2 coaches for supervision and support.
